Come and hear me drone on about PR and blogs and stuff like that

I can’t resist an invitation from Peter Kirwan of The Fullrunner, so on Monday 31st July I’ll be giving a talk at a not-so-secret venue on, oh, the future of media, PR, blogs, RSS, where it’s all going, and anything else you’d be interested in (if you’re coming along). Leave something in the comments to this post if you’re coming and have a topic you really want covered.

Ticket details: call Fullrunner’s events hotline direct on 0870 4325880. Alternatively, visit

  1. Unfortunately I am sitting here in Munich, Germany, and won’t be able to attend the event. But I wonder why you are not going to talk about podcasts. Wouldn’t it be a good idea to have your speech or parts of it available as a podcast? I can’t exactly remember how I found your blog – I think it was around the discussion of the future of press releases. By now I step by regularly to learn more from you on web 2.0 applications and what is even more important the use of it in your daily life. Thanks.

  2. Sorry, I forgot to enter my mail and my website. But the systen accepted my response anyway.

Markus, I think you’d have to drop a line to Peter at the Fullrunner on the podcast thing.

As for names and emails – none necessary here. I hate having to fill them in on other blogs – especially if you have to “register” there – and so there are no such rules here. Machines take care of filtering out all the spam, which is as it should be.

  4. Well as a new RSS feeder I thought I might learn something from attending a live event. I’m also interested in the use of PR by young entrepreneurial companies. How helpful is it get a lot of publicity before you have a product. If you need to set up relationships with other entities does your PR give you greater credibility?. One company that is still young, splashpower, spent a lot on PR in the early days. Was it wise?
