Your web site as a graph: stare at it until .. until.. why did I do this?

Wow, this is a fabulous (if completely pointless) meme. (Aren’t most of them?) Your site as an icon thingy.

Flickr tag: websitesasgraphs. There’s mine below. You can play too at www.aharef.info/static/htmlgraph/.

Be careful - I tried it on my weblog page and it BSOD my XP machine.

L.: I think if you’re on XP, “Be careful” applies at all times :)

OUCH I was just joking quit hitting me.

  3. Small Paul Says:

Oh, and the graph thing: sweet. Wish I knew what the colours meant.

I loathe XP, but to be scrupulously fair, it is very stable. This is the first non-driver related crash that I can recall in several years of running it.

My XP machine coped with it fine! Despite the fact that, as I have a blog roll (I’m guessing), my chart was even more colourful than this!

Also no idea what the pretty colours mean, though…

Armand: wouldn’t have thought it was due to the blog roll. Those links would (I’m guessing) point to other domain names, and I’d expect the graph-maker to only graph pages on your domain. Could be wrong, of course.

L.: that’s what my Windows friends have told me. We can blame Java on this one.

How long did it take to generate? I am on XP as well and after 10 minutes I still see a grey box.

If you scroll down the page when the graph appears the colours are explained
