How much coffee can a bunch of hacks drink? A lot, if you’re paying
I mentioned here how daft the idea of portion-controlled coffee is in an environment where you have thirsty hacks trying to banish last night’s drinking, and working a constant eight-hour day.
And now, the reckoning: in the five days we’ve been here, the 60-odd journalists have consumed 600 pounds worth of coffee/tea things.
The lesson: portion control sucks.
