Anyone who saw McLibel on BBC2 last night saw a glimpse of why.
My trusted food supplier says supermarket chickens are pumped to reach their size / weight in 5 weeks, organic chickens take 18 - 20 weeks to reach similar size / weight, naturally.
Organic food even when double the price looks cheap to me. Quality vs quantity.
