Met Office: Europe surface pressure animation is wonderful! At last you get to play weather presenter in your own living room. The animation of the isobars means you can wave your hands like you really really understand!

While your on weather sites, Theyr.net:”http://www.theyr.net” is worth a look at - great for checking out whether its going to be a windy weekend for windsurfing, walking or lattes in the sunshine…

I’ve used the Met Office for yonks now, and particularly like the rainfall animation - it may not forecast the future, but it does show what’s coming to get you!
I’m most grateful for the recommendation of theyr.net, especially as it’s hour by hour. Muc better than BBC.
