Great insults of our time
Came across this one on a (sigh) “discussion”. I’ll leave it to you to guess whether it was Windows vs Mac or PlayStation vs Xbox 360:
“It clearly really is ‘beyond you’ to be able to understand why this is a problem, as you have displayed an ignorance so massive as to create its own gravitational field.”
Beautiful, just beautiful, particularly for its correct use of “massive”.
I have to say though that the past few months have been a complete education in the depth and strengths of feelings that people in the Xbox and PlayStation camps have for each other. (And they are camps, where they sit encircled, gazing into the campfire, telling each other stories about the Evil Ones On The Other Side.)

Neither. That is very clearly Sampras vs. Federer and I claim my £5.
