The curse of Radiohead strikes X-Factor again
Not that I’m watching it or paying attention or anything. But just to say how relieved I am that the guy who was in the final 24, and in the final 6 of the solo singers, who chose to sing Radiohead’s ‘Creep’ in his best baritone voice (”Oymmm a crrreeeppp… oym a werrrrdooooo…”) got binned.
As regular readers will know, if you haven’t got Thom Yorke’s voice or the requisite teenage amount of self-loathing, you oughta stay well away from that song. A trillion high school and college fresher Americans loved it, but most people can’t make it sound right.
(How apt that the song on my iPod as I write is Radiohead’s “Just”.)

If any of those pop puppets try covering Just, I’ll personally hunt them down and administer a severe kipper beating.
That’s where you hit someone in the face with a kipper. It’s not that violent. I think it’ll get the point across.
Actually, I’d love to see someone audition for The X-Factor with Everything In Its Right Place. That’d give ’em something to chew on.

To be fair, I understand that the mentors pick the songs. And Icaro has said that he feels that Louis picked that song to make him look stupid. Which worked … He should never have been in the semis anyway, he was rubbish.
Not that I watch it, of course.

Can we just please focus on the important thing here. Which is picking on that Rhydian muppet.

You guys are all stupids and have limited brains! Icaro can sing very well and as an entertainer, the guy is a genius! Rhydian, that was Icaro’s roomate at the bootcamp, has the best voice in the program. Both were edited and manipulated by the producers of the program to look bad as a singer (in Icaro’s case) and arrogant (Rhydian’s case). After Icaro was booted out by Louis Pediphile Walsh Boy Band One Poney Trick Gay, Rhydian decided to quit the program when the producers had to bribe the young man back to the program by promissing stop the editing BS! Whithout Icaro and Rhydian the program would die in audience and that’s the truth like you or not. Now if you prefer just to listen to disgrace and cry, move close to a cemetery losers.

Actually I think that Rhydian is pretty good - I could see him going through to the finish. Great performer.
